Many people ranging from teens to women with high levels of hormonal imbalances suffer from acne. The different chemicals that re found in harsh acne treatments can damage your skin and turn it in to rough, flaky flesh. So how do you get rid of acne effectively in a natural way? Laura has a great corn meal scrub for these unwanted blemishes.
• 1 tablespoon cornmeal
• 1 egg white
• teaspoon warm water
You mix it all together and make a thick paste. Massage all over face and neck areas and let it dry for about 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a soft washcloth to remove residue.

Here is another cornmeal scrub for very dry and rough skin. Nobody likes the itchy feeling of this irritating condition .
• ½ cup cornmeal
• 1 egg yolk
• juice from a half of a lemon
• ¼ vegetable oil
Mix this all together ands rub all over every problem area of your body. Take as shower to rinse and while your body is still damp use a heavy duty and thick moisturizing lotion. You should visibly notice a difference after the first use.

Top Beauty Products Under $10: Gentle Exfoliating Scrub

Exfoliation is key to glowing and smooth skin. Laura recommends that you do them twice a week but warns not to over do them as it may irritate the delicate skin on your face. This next recipe is a very mild scrub that is perfect for those just starting exfoliation for the first time or those with sensitive skin.

• 1 egg yolk
• 1 tbs instant oatmeal
Mix these ingredients with you fingers and apply in a circular motion to your face and neck for approximately 3 minutes before rinsing.

Top Beauty Products Under $10: Toner

All toners should be applied after the cleansing process. Green Tea is a popular herb for many of the health benefits it gives the human body… the skin is no different. The reason behind toners is to tighten your pores to make your face less open to break outs from impurities.

• Steep one bag of green tea in one cup of water
• Let it cool and add one cup of cool water then rinse your face in it thoroughly and pat dry.

Top Beauty Products Under $10: Your Cleansing Facial
This concludes you cleansing facial where all of the above ingredients are under $10 and are most likely in your kitchen right now. A special thank you to Laura Du Priest, and her beauty expertise.
